A groove shows up when the very popular Pentel EnerGel refill is properly retracted. Unscrew the cap fully to replace the refill. Action is supplied by a triple started fast moving thread with a higbee start, making refill replacement easy. The thread action is smooth while having a moderate zippered texture to prevent unwanted spinning.
Proper allowance and a custom precision spring allow the refill to operate smoothly. The included refill is a Pentel EnerGel 0.7mm with the conical tip.
