Thanks for following along! Still in the weeds with machine repairs, but still fighting along. I ran out of the EnerGel refills for now, so I have moved onto a all new largest click mechanism yet. First time out for the Zebra Sarasa. I really need both milling machines up an running to make a new clipped unit, along with making a design I am properly happy that addresses the issues customers have had in the past with the old clipped design.
I want to apologize for the lengthy delay in replies to email requests. The volume of emails I have been receiving has exceeded my capacity to reply. Unfortunately that has forced my hand, and I can no longer solicit email requests in the same way.
I am working on a new system and I am instead requesting one email request with your top three design details. The rest of the sales will be first come first serve. Please note there is a limit of one item per customer. Also please note that shipments may take some time to show up in tracking systems, but I personally insure delivery.
If you have an existing request in that hits at least one of the design details in the current design, you can reply there to get an improved priority, or I will do my best to get an email offer out to as many as I can that serves those details.
Classic conical nose with a click mechanism. Titanium design weighing in at a hefty 49.5g, measuring 0.48" (12.2mm) and 5.33" (135.4mm) long. Built specially for the Zebra Sarasa JF-0.5 Gel Ink refill.
The travel of the refill nose is fully support throughout the entire cycle yielding a very smooth action. A captured element on the back of the refill prevents any rattle. The mechanism comes equipped with two 4mm stainless steel bearing balls. Tip details are extremely tight with a small land between the refill and the conical section. Proper allowance and a custom precision spring allow the refill to operate smoothly. There is a tight fit between the button stanchion and the mechanism body making it more resistant to binding from pressing the button on an angle. Higbee thread start to the pen body to make the thread action for replacing the refill better. And a locking feature that should keep the mechanism from unscrewing without the need for an o-ring or loctite.
Thanks again!
